Attention : I Have No Idea [UPDATED]

06 November 2008 • Comments: 6

Just a quickie post. I just want to say that, this theme has a few bugs, but what makes it beyond my capability is that, the bug only happened on Firefox. Safari, Opera, Chrome and some of other well stable internet browser can display my theme like it supposed to. Unfortunately, not for Firefox. Even NH try to help me to solve the problem. But nothing resolved yet.

The bug is about floating DIV > CSS. Whenever I turned on Negaraku! or my Comment Thread plugin, my right sidebar will drop to bottom, like there are something which pushes it downward. Usually this, bug happened when you calculation on Padding, Margin has been messed up. But not for me. Every calculation has been made perfectly.

What I have in my mind right now, is to rebuild the code. From scratch. Why? BECAUSE I CAN’T F***ING FIND THE BUG! :vangry: Anyhoo, I’m supposed getting busy with revision now. Exam is next week. :???:

Moreover, I did something stupid during the development of this theme. Which, is a very stupid steps for web developer. It against the ethics of development. Thus, I shall redo this theme.

UPDATE:

Like what I have posted in this article, the bug has been removed. I found out that, somewhere, somehow, when you apply “display: inline-table“, it will disturb the positioning of the float. This is what happened to me, but does not necessarily affecting others. This just might be my code bug, which reflects the messy and non-professional of my developing skills. Anyway, now I am greatly happy because I can enable Negaraku! and Thread Comment plugins. :D

F.Y.I, the Thread Comment’s CSS has been override within my plugin-custom.css file. So, this theme should be very dynamic to any blog and no need editing of the plugin’s CSS. But, you need to change something in the plugin output format, which you can find in the Settings (2.6).
