I bet, those who are YouTube fanatics love to have the opportunity to download their favourite videos on to their computer for future viewing or transfered to their portable mobile device. As the matter of fact that YouTube nowadays serve us with higher quality of video, yet most of you only be able to download them in FLV format.

Don’t worry, today I’m going to share with you the alternative to download YouTube videos in MP4 format, which serves us with higher quality, and supporting the High Definition (HD) video. However, bear in mind, those HD video might not necessarily in True HD, but rather in HD resolution only. But still, it is better to have higher resolution compared to lower resolution which definitely brings you lower quality of video.

Step 1

Go to this link. Download YouTube Videos as MP4 Files. Follow the instructions given on the page.

Step 2

Go to your favourite YouTube video

Step 3

Click on the link that you have bookmarked from Step 1

Step 4

The download / save file window will pop-out. Rename the filename according to what is relevant to you. Press SAVE.

Step 5

You’re done. Now the file will be named with the extension of MP4. You may use Quicktime, VLC or any other player which support MP4 files.
