It was 27th December, 2008. My friends and I went for a journey around Kuala Lumpur, to buy a Macbook (2.4Ghz) and hanging out with friend from Miri, Wanie da Duckie. It was really a fun hang out. We did stuff that we didn’t ever think about and I went to a place I have never been before in my life.

It was a night before the 27th, Aju just arrived from Hong Kong, and he texted me, “Are you free tomorrow?”, and I replied, “I guess so, I am”. So, when he picked me up from my house, he told me that he wanted me to help him in buying his Macbook (Unibody) at One Utama. But before we went to OU, we make a stop at Midvalley Mall, picking up Wanie, as she stayed at one of the hotel there. Then, we had our run to OU.

Arrived there, we decided to have our brunch first, then shopping. We walked arround just to search for something else than fast food because Aju need to take a break on eating fast food, as he is going for medication later days. So, we walked far enough till we have to play with those dumb Navigation System located nearby every escalators. The system were using low quality of touchscreen and the backbone of the system is only flash on web-browser. How do I know that? Because, while playing with that thing, I accidently generate an Error Page. Hahahaha

At last, we decided to have a stop at Kebab What-So-Ever (I forgot the name, hahaha). The price of the Mix / Beef / Chicken Kebab was affordable and we can even add more cheese, chicken or beef if we want to. Here, Aju gave each of us, a souveniour from Hong Kong. Both Wanie and I got a neclace, carve with our name on it. Weeee. Thanks a lot Aju! Wanie wore the neclace at that instance, but having problems to tie the string together. Huhu.

Then, we went to Maccity to check out Aju’s Macbook. After checking out the specs and promotions, Aju decided to buy the new Macbook (2.0Ghz), but unfortunately, the stocks for the promotion were already sold out. At first, pity Aju, as the price and promotion only valid for the stocks reserved for the event, but, later on, we have been inform that, there’s one left in the stock, but, it is the new Macbook with 2.4Ghz specs. Having a small discussion lead Aju to decide to buy the last remaining stock, and at the same time, he was promoted with free 4Gig ram, a very nice and smart backpack, a portable cooler, and a rechargable portable speaker, and.. (are there more free gifts given? I’m totally not focused on that. Ahaks).

After having trouble with his father’s credit card, cash delivery by his brother, at last, Aju manage to touch and hold on to his new Macbook, far more superior from his budgetted one. Hahaha. Congratulation Aju, welcome to Apple Fan Club! Hahaha   and, I’m the second person to touch his new Unibody Macbook, 2.4Ghz (Erk, this is the same speed as my MBP, LOL). Pity Wanie, as she thought she was the second person, but, she only touch the plastic cover on the Macbook. Hahaha

Actually, before Aju manage to pay for his Macbook, to waste our time while waiting for Aju’s brother to reach OU, we accidently saw Baseball training cage on top of the mall. Without further await, we took the lift, and get to the roof to have a look at the automatic pitch cage. With student price, we only need to pay about RM5.50 for 15 shots. Hahaha. Aju and me manage to hit the ball, more than 70%, but Wanie only hit about 50% or less (err, maybe more). Surely, now I know how it feels to not able to hit the ball, even though you predicted you were going to hit it. Most of the balls when through with slightly missed the bat. Hehe. But, we do have lots of fun even though it was sunny hot. Moreover, the pitch is on top of the roof. Hahaha. *sweat*

After OU, we went to Summit, to search for Games for my Mac. Unfortunately, Mac games do not have quite big ground in Malaysia. So, I ended buying for Windows version, plus, I bought a new Windows XP Pro installer, as mine already worn out (lots of error during installation). Hehe. I guess, after Shah Alam, Low Yat and others store have been cleaned up, Summit still have doors of ‘cheaper’ DVDs and installers. Huhu. Next, we sent Wanie back to her hotel, because she got another date with her secondary school friend at Midvalley.

Then, Aju and me drove to my brother’s studio, to configure Aju’s laptop. We installed lots of stuff (got even more to drop to him) and Aju was catching up really fast. Anyhow, I didn’t manage to partition the HDD for him, as I was trying the Windows installer on my MBP. (Yes, I use bootcamp, just for Need For Speed : Undercover). Later, Aju sent me home, and went back to layback his back. Fuh. Another convert from Windows, to Mac. This is just getting more fun. Hahaha.

p.s: Actually, I hate booting into Windows, it always turn my MBP into Hotplate. Durgh. If it not for the NFS:Undercover, I shall not boot into Windows. Purfs.

p.s.s: NFS:Undercover was quite fun! But, I think I love NFS:Most Wanted more.

p.s.s.s: Anyway, the final photo is the shot of the drink I ordered when having dinner with Aju, it is called “Mint Cool Lime with Cucumber”, at Pak Li Kopitiam, Section 7, Shah Alam.  Quite nice actually.
