Graphic Designers are artist, means that they are good in art and singing. Ok, minus the singing part. An artist has his own sense of art and how to implement them. He will talk about readability, eye-catching and stuff. It is not easy for an artist to create an art without analyzing the whole parts of the creation. They tend to be fussy and optimistic.

However, according to a freelancer from Canada, Ghislain Roy, he discover that graphic designers are the cause of many wars on our earth. According to him:

They get inside our heads with their subliminal advertising, force us against our will to spend money on the worst pieces of shit, and eventually, drive us to depression and random acts of violence. And of course, most of them are communists.

On his mission to save the world, he listed out 8 steps to get rid of graphic designers on this originally peaceful earth. He explained all 8 steps and you can further read them on his page. The post was originally a rant but, somehow spread on the net and later published on prints.

It is true fact that us (graphic designers, and programmers too) are really affected to this 8 steps on how to drive us nuts. We tried our best to give you the very best of art and usefulness to everyone, but there are some restriction : the clients always right concept. This concept which rooted in those kind of people will drove us far from a sane world.

Ok, fine. We need to respect our clients, but there is a limit. This limit cost our pride, our experiences, our professionalism on producing a the finest art of all. We gave you the product which going to be a win-win situation  because, we love it, and the client’s client too. Which in the end is profitable for both of us : the artist and the client.
