It was time that my system alert me that I need to update my iTunes to version 8.1 and everything went very smooth. Then, I started my iTunes and wanted to try out the re-branding feature, called iTunes DJ (was known as Party Shuffle). While clicking around, I mistakenly click the Genius feature, located below the iTunes DJ.

The Genius feature required me to login into my Apple ID. After few clicks and confirmation, iTunes automatically display an info about how to start using the Genius feature, so, I clicked. Guess what, the iTunes synchronized my music library to the internet and alert me that I can using the feature by selecting any song, and push the Genius button (an icon with atomic symbol). Then iTunes automatically create a playlist for me. OMG! It works!

Why the fuss about this? It is because, when the feature was introduced back then, I can’t submit my library and it stated that Malaysia is not supporting Genius feature. But, it does now. So, how about you? Can you enable the Genius feature?

Get iTunes 8.1 now (download).
