Lets Jogging

Out of random day, I decided to jog today. As usual, my route will be the daily path to campus. Once, before the road getting busier, the air was very clean. Unlike nowadays, constructions are taking place along the route, and more fossil fuel based motorcars are passing through.

I achieved something today. I managed to overcome my personal weakness point. It is a distance or spot where I normally get exhausted and started walking. However, not today. I continue to jog and passed that point and reached campus non-stop. Yea!

Calculate using Google Earth, the distance was 2.5Km. While, recorded using my stopwatch, it took me 14 minutes and 43 seconds to reach campus.

Thus, to calculate my time in Hour:

• 14 m + (43 s / 60 s) =  14 m + 0.717 m
• 14.717 m / 60 m = 0.24528 h

Then, to get my average speed, we divide the total distance over total time:

• 2.5 km / 0.24528 h = 10.192433138 km/h

Therefore, my average speed is around 10 km per hour.

Random

The photo above were taken early of the semester, the same month of Spring in Japan. I guess, we have Spring too in Miri. Hahaha. Don’t get fooled with the colour of the image, we won’t get any green like above photo. It was edited because the shot was taken using my E71.

Thinking of this jogging activity, I wish I own an iPhone 4 because it can act as my iPod, my traveling path logger (GPS) and my compact camera / video camera. Things would be so much fun!
