My Summer Break Stories

Summer break started at the end of November 2008. All of us (PETRONAS scholars) had to take leave and went back to their hometown. We were not permitted to stay at Curtin housing as PETRONAS did not cover the cost during 3 months holiday break. Thus, all of us were home. Back to their parents and family. Including me. I’m backed in Shah Alam. Home sweet home.

Right after the OBS Camp, I had my family reunion gathering, located at Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam. Days before that, my only younger sister, name Fatimah, arrived from Egypt. She’s doing medicine over there. What a jealousy I had, once her results came out, she is the best student for her batch, no.1. Haha. She was quite weak at studies, as she’s not good with calculation and dynamic logic stuff, but, she had her chance to continue in medicine line, she surpass me that much. Haha. Timah, abang jealous sangat!! Ok, back to the reunion, Kak Yam or Dr Maryam or I would rather call her Along because she is the ministry of finance in the house, she came back too. Then the family was  in a complete number, 9 siblings with 2 parents. Alhamdulillah.

Things we did over there:

1. Went to 4 seasons house, and it was end of winter.
2. Barbeque for dinner
3. Daurah by Abah about “Apa Erti Saya Menganut Islam”.
4. Sleep
5. Street soccer
