It has been a week since my upgrade to Snow Leopard and I would like to share my experience poking around with this new Mac OS X. Some of them has been repeatedly reported by other, while some of the refreshment were not focused. So, today I would like to focus on the minor changes but huge improvement made by Apple for Snow Leopard.
On the arrival of Snow Leopard, Apple worked so hard in the pushing the industry to start utilising 64 bit application. Today, System Preferences by default will run in 64 bit architecture and if you want to access any 32 bit app, you will be informed to restart the app in 32 bit.
I bet those Apple users out there are craving to death on upgrading their machine box to Apple latest Mac OS X, codename Snow Leopard. You might have sneaking all over the web, reading about Snow Leopard and its reviews. Now, you decided that you want to continue upgrading you current Mac OS X version with Snow Leopard. Here, I’ll try my best to guide you upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard using External Storage, instead of the DVD itself.
The reason why I’m using an external drive and not the DVD is because the reading speed of these two medium. A DVD can be read up around 10 Mbps (8x speed) while s0me usb drive can go up to 30 Mbps and an external hard drive has a speed up to 480 Mbps with USB 2.0. However, this is just an another installation technique and not compulsory.
Continue with our WordPress Day Series which specially recorded in Malay and made for Malaysian. Today I want to introduce to new WordPress user regarding the Dashboard or so called the administration page. Today’s screencast is mainly targeting those who are new to WordPress.
Before you start watching this screencast, I would recommend you to watch the 1st recording over here. Then you may proceed with this one. The screencast was recorded in High Definition quality and I strongly advice you to watch the HD version for better experience.
Today, remarks the beginning of my brand new screencast series that will guide you on how to get started with WordPress related development. I’ll try my best to start with the very basic and we will get more advance as we go on further with the series. Personally, I’m quite nervous with the series because it will be recorded in MALAY instead of ENGLISH which I did with my previous recording.
The reason behind the language is that, nowadays you can find a lot of screencasts recorded in English, unlike Malay. Thus, in order to cater the need of tutorial series in Malay, I stood up as one of the contributor for Malaysian. As usual, it is open to you to comment on the recording as it should help me to improve my teaching skill for future release.
The wallpapers within the packages merely just a screenshot from iTunes Visualizer, thus it is free to be distributed and shared. No worries.
