    Syiasweetcorn.com

    Project name : SyiaSweetCorn.com blog’s template development.

This project started during my Summer break, while I was still in Shah Alam, Selangor. She is a friend of my friend, Hassan (Odin) and a business student in MMU Melaka. At first, when I asked for any clues or hints upon how does she wants the theme looks like, I barely had any idea. She said she wanted a theme with these kind of clues:

    1. Syia
    2. Sweetcorn
    3. And thats all. Haha. Only two points.

The process of designing continues with research and sketch. The research lead me to several definitions of what she is asking for, and how should I apply the prescriptions into her design. I search about her. A bit. Just to know how should I play the keyword Syia into this. Later, she gave me her Flickr page. This eases me because I can do a simple background research upon her life style and such. Sorry, I’m not stalking her. She is my client, remember that.

There were some images that I marked as references, and I found out that she loves paper-cut and stitching-effect. Not to forget, she did apply the keyword Syia into this by using some of her personal photos. Then, it was the time to choose the base-colour for the theme. Luckily, she told me that she wanted something colourful and her previous blog were using multiple colours for posting. I choose what are best for her.

When the first html-to-wordpress theme was released to her, she asked to add up one more keyword: Powerpuff Girls icon, but in her style, to represent her and friends. So, I did a research about Powerpuff Girls and some photos of her friends (given by her). Finally, the theme was released for the readers! Yea!
